Context
Two years ago, I joined a Zoom call where Brian Collins invited his friend, poet David Whyte, to speak. I found out about it through a LinkedIn post and, luckily, reserved my spot. Throughout the session, David kept saying, ‘Just beyond yourself, that’s where you need to be.’ He repeated it over and over.
At first, it didn’t sink in. But those words stayed with me. With time, this idea flourished in my mind. We are the people holding ourselves back. If we can strive to be just a bit better than we were yesterday. That's where lies real win, real growth.
