Context
Chroma Sine is a new music studio in Barcelona created by a group of friends deeply connected to the emotional power of sound. More than just recording music, they help artists and brands translate emotions into frequency and frequency into finished tracks. They reached out to craft a visual identity that could carry the same weight and resonance as the music they produce.
Challenge
The challenge was philosophical and visual:
How do you design a brand around something you can’t see like sound?
They wanted an identity that was emotional, precise, and deeply rooted in what they do. It needed to feel expansive and intimate, technical but warm. Something that would speak to both musicians and brands.
Solution
The breakthrough came during a conversation about cymatics, the science of how sound shapes form. That’s when it clicked:
What if we let vibration itself design the brand?
We studied cymatic patterns and how frequencies naturally organize matter. These forms became the foundation of the brand, from the logo to the graphic system to how content moves on their website.
The result is an identity that quite literally looks like what they sound like, a system built on resonance, emotion, and frequency.
